24th Accra Scouts hiking to the top of Mt Gema from the village of Amedzofe, in the Volta Region of Ghana.

Leaving the Rest House. (We were staying at the Local Authority Rest House - a sort of basic hotel for officials visiting the area.) The track up the hill. Mt Gema is the highest hill in the area and gathers the mist.

The boy on the right is a Cub Scout, coming to see if he wants to move up to Scouts. He does! The old iron cross at the top of the hill.

What do you mean, you forgot to bring the tea? Back at the Rest House next morning, two Scouts to be invested.
